A note on my style...
If you've explored this far I would imagine that you and I share a similar vision when it comes to photography. First and foremost I want to create warm, elegant and relaxed images of my couples.
Naturally, I am drawn to beautiful light and clean, true to life colours. I find myself really interested in detail, and as a result many of my photos focus on tiny moments and artefacts, as well as the bigger, grander events.
I edit each of my couples' photographs very carefully and do my best to enhance the natural tones in skin, fabrics and environments. I would describe my style as a mixture of editorial and documentary, while also taking a little influence from lifestyle, classic portraiture and fashion photography.
While I think it's important to be aware of trends in photography I also think it's vital to know what appeals to you as an individual, and what you'll still find exciting in years to come. I really aspire to capture your day in a way which feels true to life and true to you.
How I work...
It's really important to me to strike the balance between being present and being discreet. There are certain times of the day when you'll know I'm there and others when I get myself lost in the crowd. I'll be by your side during your prep, tucked away quietly during your ceremony, then in amongst the guests at your reception. I like to make sure my couples feel that they have had enough time to take the photos they've booked me for, while understanding that there are so many other parts of your day you should be enjoying!

Throughout the day, I will sneak you away for some pictures by yourselves. I find it best to break your couples shoot up in small chunks - I think this is more fun than one big session and lets us capture you at different times of the day (fingers crossed for that golden hour!).
I also like to use this time to be a little bit more creative. We'll explore your venue together, looking for the best views and beautiful corners. You'll probably get a little gentle guidance from me during these shoots - and talking, laughing and moving are encouraged!
I've worked with couples who feel comfortable in front of the camera and plenty of others who don't. It's important to me that you enjoy the experience to the full so no matter if you're a seasoned pro or someone who usually shies away from the limelight, I want to make sure you can feel as comfortable as possible.
